Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Miller and family in front of home

Lot 16, Con. 2 East. Sheppard Ave. James Miller house, built approximately 1840. James Miller acquired a quarter of lot 16, con. 2 east in 1822, which Joseph Miller took over in 1882. The first house was of log construction and built to the east and south of the above house. The second house consisted of a living room, dining room, three bedrooms and kitchen on the main floor, and two bedrooms on the second floor.
