Original Toronto Star caption: Residents of Riverdale; the area south of the Danforth on both sides of the Don River; dump their garbage in Nathan Phillips Square in a move to pressure Toronto to get litter out of their parks where; they say; it's a health hazard to children. About 45 persons created the emergency dump in front of City Hall yesterday; a dozen brought a few more bags today. Connie Leslie; one of the protesters; said people from the suburbs dumped in Riverdale parks.
