Original Toronto Star caption: Hours of idling in the miles of traffic jams generated by Metro's transit strike inevitably bring a few stalled engines. And that just jams traffic even more. This motorist on University Ave. had a breakdown in the southbound lane at the height of the rush hour between 4 and 5 p.m. yesterday. Police later helped him push his car into the curb lane; easing the flow (in that's the term) of traffic again. University Ave. was headache both north and southbound from 3.30 on.
