Original Toronto Star caption: It was Icy yesterday in Mississauga as four inches of snow; ice-coated power lines and tree branches; and flooded intersections created havoc for everyone. Here; broken and bent branches on the Queensway west of Southdown Rd. makes things awkward on a sidewalk. Drivers had to contend with two feet of water at some intersections; a situation that became a hazardous last night as water turned to a skating rink in plunging temperatures. It was 10 below last night.
