Original Toronto Star caption: Blind reader holds a 'Story Hour'; Read me a story; all youngsters sometimes plead. For a blind person it is a poignantly frustrating request. Blind Mrs. Gay Morrell shows how Canadian National Institute for the Blind helps solve the problem as she reads to 3-year-old Margaret Law. An overlay; with Braille characters; is placed in illustrated childrens' books; donated by the Scarborough Public Library; so that a sighted child can follow the colorful pictures while a blind person reads story aloud.
