Original Toronto Star caption: The slider who never grew up. Michael Cartwright; 30; is flying down a snow-covered hill in North York's Sunnybrook Park on a luge. Cartwright also practises on an 800-metre-long luge track in Bancroft; Ont.; where he trains with other members of the provincial luge team. His attraction to the sport is easily explained: I'm a kid who never grew up. Cartwright started the Toronto Luge Club last September after moving here from Alberta; where he helped set up a luge association.
