Original Toronto Star caption: Filled to overflowing; Montreal's Jarry Park is the scene of the first major league baseball game to be played in Canada. Close to 30;000 fans jammed stadium; which still lacks finishing touches. All seats weren't installed and some patrons had to wait until rented chairs were put in place before they could sit down. It was worth it; however; as the Expos outlasted St. Louis Cardinals; 8-7.
