Original Toronto Star caption: Toronto's apartment boom; Construction of housing; heavily in demand; has picked up considerably this year and the big boom has been in apartment house building. And the centre of that activity is Toronto; where apartments have swept into the distant suburbs; following major roads. These new buildings are at Highway 401 and the extension of Don Mills; with 401-- or Macdonald Cartier Freeway-- being larger.
