Original Toronto Star caption: . . . And it's a long way to the ground. Looking straight down on the restaurant framework from approximately 1,815 feet (553.3 m) up, the CN Tower is a dizzying sight. The 1,815-foot level will be the second observation deck, the highest point at which the public will be admitted when the tower opens next summer. The forms for the pod were inched up over eight days. The next challenge is construction of the 325-ton, 300-foot antenna that will top the tower.
