Original Toronto Star caption: Up goes the CN tower's crown. That crown-like structure that has been inching up the CN Tower is 350 tons of pod structure that will be the forms of the concrete base of the three-storey pod at the 1;100-foot level of the 1;800-foot tower. Forty-five cables have lifted the forms into place in eight inch-by-inch days. It will take about two months to pour the concrete for the first storey; a restaurant. Above it will be an open-air; screened; observation deck.
