NotesOriginal Toronto Star caption: Barefoot nurses and an intern slosh through the water on the floor of the emergency wing of Wellesley Hospital today as they pass a barefoot nurse answering the phone. The water seeped down from overflowing toilets when water and turned back on after plumbing repairs. Officials said no operations were taking place in the emergency operating rooms when water began pouring in at 10 a.m. The hospital's emergency cases were sent to other hospitals in Metro for treatment.
