Original Toronto Star caption: Designs new Radium Bomb This new radium bomb has been designed by Dr. G. E. Richards; need of the radiation department at the Toronto General hospital; and has been built by the hospital enginners in the Toronto General hospital shops. It is designed to create greater conveience; adaptability and efficiency in the treatment of malignant conditions of the face; mouth and throat particularly; and is a decided advance on the radium bomb manufactured in Sweden; the United States and elsewhere. For the first time; Dr. Richards is making public this advance to the American. Laryngological society in a convention at the Royal York hotel to-day.
