Original Toronto Star caption: The most popular place in Toronto yesterday seemed to be the Islands; where hundreds of persons lined up on Centre Island for the return boat at 5 p.m. On the mainland; there were half-hour line-ups at mid-day; to the delight of ice cream vendors. About 16;000 persons visited the Islands; next most popular were the Riverdale Zoo and Woodbine race track; with 15;000 each. Ontario Place lured 14;000.
