Original Toronto Star caption: A real centre of a municipality; Hundreds of skaters turn out every night at the rink in the $5 million Chinguacousy Civic Centre in Bramalea; where the skating is free and hot drinks are served under infra-red heat lamps. When the centre opened two months ago; Reeve Robert Williams said it would be the living centre of the municipality. Besides the civic offices; it has a public library and art gallery; an arts and crafts studio and a theatre.
