Original Toronto Star caption: Closed by premier hepburn as the lieutenant-governor's residence; Chorley Park is to open at once as a 200-bed convalescent hospital for No. 2 military district. According to Col. A. R. Hagerman; district M.O.; patients can be taken in immediately and some may be there tomorrow. Everything is pretty wel set up; he said. The kitchens are ready and the beds moved in.
