Original Toronto Star caption: New home of Lieutenant-Governor. Formerly the home of Frank P. Wood; president of the Burlington Steel Co.; Ltd.; the large residence at 166 Crescent Rd.; has been purchased by Hon. W. D. Ross; lieutenant-governor of Ontario; The Star learns to-day. Standing in beautifully landscaped and ravined grounds; the dwelling contains 16 rooms and three baths. A. E. LePage; realtor; Canada Permanent building; who negotiated the transaction; refused to disclose any details regarding the sale; but it is learned; however; that the purchase price was approximately $80;000.
