Original Toronto Star caption: A special train gives employees of Metro finance department and TTC a preview of the North Yonge subway extension yesterday. The Lawrence and York Mills stations will have official openings on Friday; service will begin Saturday; although escalators in the deep level stations won't be ready for use. The remaining 2.73 miles of the extension; to Finch Ave.; is expected to open in April of 1974.
