Original Toronto Star caption: Wire maze to disapper. This is the view on Queen St. looking east from Bellwoods Park toward Yonge St. almost two miles distant. The jungle of hydro poles and wires is soon to disappear with the wires going underground and new aluminum light standards replacing the ugly wooden poles. It's all part of Toronto Hydro's program to beautify our streets. Tall building in background is new Simpsons Tower at Bay and Queen Sts.
