Original Toronto Star caption: Yesterday. Thousands of Torontonians strolled casually down the centre of Yonge St. through a maze of trees and temporary gardens set out in the centre of the pavement as the city turned its main thoroughfare in to a four-block-long pedestrian mall. There were concerts and sidewalk cafes on pavement where traffic flowed heavily Saturday (below).
