Original Toronto Star caption: Big apartment building changes hands. Above is a photograph of the Cedar vale Mansions in Forest Hill village, 1577 to 1579 Bathurst street, which has been sold to C. and J. Cira, who have purchased the property as an investment. The building contains 20 suites and is one of the most up-to-date and beautiful apartment houses in the district. The building and land cost over $150,000, the purchase price is not disclosed. D. B. and S. Goodman, barristers, Federal Building, acted for the purchasers and Leo A. Maldaver and Company, barristers, Federal Building, for the vendor. Bathurst street is being paved to the apartments and the contemplated $500,000 bridge is planned to span the valley in its immediate vicinity.
