Vivid memories are stirred by these World War I steel helmets, on the left a Canadian tin hat and on the right a German sniper's helmet. L. W. Currell, a businessman and retired lieutenant-colonel, displayed the helmets at a talk on the battle of Vimy Ridge in which Canadian troops distinguished themselves. Currell, a 19-year-old private at the time, told of the battle in Erindale Untied Church last night.
