Cummings instructs in furniture design at Humber College and teaches his students to strive for a combination of good looks and practicality. Students are quick to pick this up, he says.

Yea. To Principal John Plumpton of Jane Junior High School in North York for trying to get more students to read books. Twice a week staff and students are given 50 minutes of the day just to read - anything they like. Some of them may discover that reading is a joy, even though it's a little more work than watching a TV scree. It's a nice idea.
