Their class project this winter is to go out into the community and try to persuade people who never thought they could attend university that they possibly could. Everything fits: That's as it should be - Ken Cummings is the teacher and if he can't do it right, everyone's in trouble. Cummings instructs in furniture design at Humber College and teaches his students to strive for a combination of good looks and practicality. Students are quick to pick this up, he says.
