Eye operation: Eye surgeon Dr. Lionel Chisholm of Toronto Western Hospital says a research clinic here would provide a centre where he and other doctors could share information on eye treatment techniques with researchers. Because there is no eye research institute in Canada, those with disease or injures often travel to the U.S., the site of the nearest eye centres.

Because Victor has lived in Venice most of his life, practically all the furniture in the room has been imported from Italy. Although the home on Glenview Ave. in North Toronto looks English on the outside, inside it is transformed into a touch of Venice transported to Toronto.
