Original Toronto Star caption: Injured engineer of the wrecked train; Stewart Vince; is carried on a stretcher over a makeshift ramp. He is reported in poor condition today in Peel Memorial Hospital in Brampton. It was several hours after wreck occurred that the two dead were finally freed from the wreckage as workers cut through the debris with welding torches under the light or are lamps. A teenage girl passenger was crushed between two cars and train fireman was buried under engine.
