Original Toronto Star caption: Expensive error: A contractor's error in the heat treatment of 48 boilers for Ontario Hydro's Pickering B Nuclear power plant has caused the utility company to be saddled with an $850 million debt. Hydro says the debt was brought on by Babcock and Wilcox Canada Ltd's error, which caused a lengthy delay in starting up the $3.9-billion plant east of Metro.
