Original Toronto Star caption: Schoolyard tour in 1867 style. Anyone passing by Davenport Public School yesterday would have thought he'd stepped into another century. And with good reason - as part of its centennial celebrations the school was re-enacting the way of life of 100 years ago. Here two plug-hatted gentlemen (teacher Jeff Tracy and Roy Riches) circle the schoolyard on a bicycle built for two; much to the delight of the children chasing them.
