Original Toronto Star caption: Streets were alive with the sounds of victory in Montreal last night after word of the Parti Quebecois victory was announced. People danced and drank beer openly celebrating the election results. Of course; not everyone was happy with the results. One taxi driver said Quebeckers wanted to teach the Liberals a lesson; not give the Parti Quebecois a majority. But Parti Quebecois supporters were too busy celebrating their great victory at the polls.
