Original Toronto Star caption: A Ruptured oil line in this Ontario Hydro manhole at Eglinton Ave. E. and Cleveland St. sent a large fireball into the air and shook homes in the area. Residents a block away were awakened as the thick steel cover shattered into eight pieces. No one was hurt and the resulting fire was put out soon after by firemen.
