Original Toronto Star caption: From big ships to small ones; Scale model of a 17th century Dutch flute ship; a partially armed rival transport; is being completed by Robert Nickerson; 36; at the Ontario Science Centre. He's is from the Maritimes and has served on destroyers in navy; including a tour to Cyprus in 1964. His first models were of ships he had served on; some of these are on loan to the armed forces in Halifax. The flute ship took 4;000 hours of work. [Incomplete]
