Original Toronto Star caption: Ironing out kinks in the $140 million mechanized post system in Metro will take until late summer or early fall; postal officials say. The Kinks - computer and equipment breakdowns - have resulted in delays of 10 days or more in local mail deliveries. And they have made a mockery of the Post Office's next-day delivery pledge. The 14-acre automated plant on Eastern Ave. (above) is one of three that replaced old Terminal A centre in downtown Toronto.
