This edition of "Ivanhoe" has two issues: only the first volume is altered, and can be identified by the press mark 9 on page iii and on p. iv l. 6 the first word 'Peter' in the first issue. In the second issue where there are 2 variants, the press mark on p. iii is either 2 or not present and on p. iv l. 6 the first words are 'St Peter'.
