A photograph of a military recruiting tent in front of a large brick or stone building, located on a gravel field. There are twelve men in military uniforms and hats standing in front of the tent, and some of them are holding walking sticks or canes. There is a sign in front of the tent reading "RECRUITS WANTED for 9th MISSISSAUGA OVERSEAS COMPANY. INFANTRY PAY STARTS AT ONCE. Apply 111 King St. West - 463 Yonge St. and Armories bettwen 9 am & 10 pm."
