Original Toronto Star caption: Piles of garbage mount all over Metro; and Sheila Tishler from Briar Hill and her son Billy and his friend Jean Paul do their part in adding to a heap of garbage at Eglinton Park at Roselawn Ave. The unfinished Spadina Expressway became an emergency garbage depot as the strike of nearly 4;000 Metro and Toronto civic workers continued for a third day. Private garbage collectors; who have been doing a landoffice business; say they'll soon be out of dump site.
