Original Toronto Star caption: Alderman watch traffic crawl down MacLennan hill. The civic works committe; accompanied by Ald. Lamport; Works Commissioner R. C. Harris; City Planning Commissioner Tracy le May and other civic officials this morning visited the Maclennan Ave. death trap when traffic was at its heaviest. They were unanimous in agreeing that something should be done to eliminate the dangerous condition. The above pictures show cars slowly crawling down the steep; narrow incline across the C. P. railway tracks at the bottom.
