Original Toronto Star caption: Firemen with face masks battle to enter burning upstairs bedroom of David Lumsden s home in Downsview early today; trying to reach bodies of four young children trapped inside by flames. Their mother; Mrs. Dianne Lumsden; and two other children had already been brought out by firemen; but died shortly after. The father; David Lumsden; 27; who ran naked down the street screaming vainly for help; is in critical condition from burns and shock in Toronto Western Hospital. It was Metro s second worst fire in a single-family home.
