Original Toronto Star caption: Horsing around? Don't bet on it, young Mennonite men, great judges of horseflesh who use horses to farm their land, are absorbed in the sight of huge draft horses going through their paces yesterday during an auction in the show ring of the Horse Palace in Exhibition Park, part of the Canada Farm Show, which ends tonight. They watched with great interest as Maple West Dusty Dawn, 4-year-old Percheron mare, as sold by J. Harry Walker of Newmarket for $3,000, a record price at the show.
